BootHurenAmsterdam was a platform for exclusive private boat rental in Amsterdam: a kind of Booking.com for boat trips through the capital.

The platform started in 2008, bringing supply and demand together: anyone looking for a boat found saloon boats, sloops and canal cruisers from a range of operators. From canal cruises to corporate events and weddings, the platform served the full spectrum of private boat trips. As a lead generator, it formed the link between customer and operator.

NAUD acquired the company in 2011 and took it to its next phase. The platform became a starting point for further entrepreneurship in Amsterdam’s nautical sector and for the acquisitions that followed.

BootHurenAmsterdam was sold at the end of 2016.
