Project development

NAUD creates locations that are so visually and functionally attractive that they automatically bring together a community of bon vivants. We develop vibrant waterfront projects, where living, working and recreation flow together. Because it is precisely water that stimulates the senses of visitors, whether they want to relax or are looking for adventure.

Marinas

The marinas developed by NAUD are so much more than a parking place for boats. They are the beating heart of a vibrant community, where enjoyment and conviviality are central. All our marinas are developed with sustainable materials and prepared for the future of electric boating.

Participations

At NAUD, we are always looking for nautical ventures that inspire us and fit well with our other water-related activities. With our knowledge of the nautical industry and our experience as entrepreneurs, we like to invest in companies that strengthen NAUD’s world, and can in turn benefit from the synergy created. In these companies, we act as an active shareholder.

Some of our succes stories

Nautix: Amsterdam's nautical quarter

Although Amsterdam has always had a reputation as a water city, it didn’t have a nautical area. With Nautix, this has changed. On Zeeburg, NAUD is developing a nautical quarter with a marina, restaurants and lots of nautical activity. The first phase has been completed; Nautix Marina and the car park have been put into use, Holland Sport Service Centre is operational and the restaurant, Hangar Oost, is already running at full capacity. The next phase of the development involves the construction of the large triangular site and a floating building in the water. This will make Nautix an area where business and leisure go hand in hand and where happy people will perch, because of the maritime holiday vibe.

E-Harbour: the first harbour concept for electric boats

Behind the De Omval business park in Amsterdam, the first sustainable marina for electric boats was put into use in 2017: E-Harbour Amstelkwartier. Already one year later, all 65 berths had been rented out. Meanwhile, E-Harbour has also settled in neighbouring municipality Uithoorn and in Zeeburg, where the marina is part of Nautix. And in the years to come, E-Harbour will set up more marinas for electric boats. Because more and more cities are ready for a transition to emission-free water traffic.

Adam's Boats: rent a boat and drive it yourself

At Adam’s Boats, you rent a boat in Amsterdam for a reasonable hourly rate. These boats are rented without a skipper, so you are the captain of your own boat. Ideal for those who want to cruise the Amsterdam canals but would rather not buy their own sloop or live too far away to take their own boat to Amsterdam. Adam’s Boats has been succesfully sold.

Pep Charge: a charging station for everyone

Pep supplies charging stations for electric cars and is also the first provider of charging stations for e-boats. Because the amount of electrical boats is rising. It is no coincidence that more and more municipalities, as well as water sports clubs, holiday parks, hotels, tourist attractions, apartment complexes, catering establishments and private individuals are requesting a Pep Charge post for boats.
